Hartzell has been the leader in aircraft propeller systems for over 80 years. We have over 300 different blade designs available which can be configured in hubs with 2 - 6 blades to provide optimal performance for the aircraft designer / modifier. All Hartzell propellers are constant-speed and many are available with optional de-ice systems.
Spinners
Hartzell manufactures its own Propeller Spinners for use with its Propeller Systems. These
spinners come in a variety of sizes and can be made from spun aluminum or composite
materials.
Controls
Hartzell produces Propeller Governors for reciprocating engines. These are available
with the following features:
- Normal or High Capacity
- Feathering
- Synchronizing
- Synchrophasing
Hartzell also produces Synchrophasing Computers for use in conjunction with its Synchrophasing Govenors.
- Non-feathering, Feathering, or Aerobatic type control compatibility
- Aluminum or Composite blades
- Hub extensions up to five inches

Lightweight Turbine Series propellers are available for small to mid-range turboprops up to 1650 horsepower. They feature a split aluminum hub with an internal pitch change mechanism. Other design options include:
